Rebbetzin Ruthie Halberstadt, daughter of Rabbi and Rebbetzin Akiva Tatz, grew up in Israel and South Africa. She studied at Gateshead Teachers Training College in England. Known for her thought provoking educational women\'s programs, Ruthie has taught at several seminaries in Jerusalem, Hasmonean Academy in London and other venues internationally. Presently, she lives with her family in London, England, where her husband, Rabbi Ilan Halberstadt is the Rabbi of a dynamic young community.
